A friend recently remarked that she was happy that had been covering more interiors again, and must confess, for a while there, it seemed like there were very few beautiful interiors to be found anywhere . . . And then suddenly, happily, have been stumbling upon chic and elegant and wonderfully designed rooms everywhere, so much so that am now left with the longing to completely redo our place at once. And this particular space, with its elegant white tufted sofa and pale, pale pinks has stolen my heart—so much so, that do not even mind the very vibrant surprise at the end . . .

Hi there, I love your site, some great inspirational ideas! I am in love with the “lilacs and bar carts and palest, prettiest pink” room. I am searching for a similar chair in a room I am designing right now for myself, and am wondering if you can put a name to this type of chair? I think it has some provincial influences but have not really been able to find something quite as similar. Thanks for your help!

It’s a Century Furniture chesterfield, covered in a Rogers & Goffigon canvas, and Hanna chair by Oly Studio in Cowtan & Tout’s Barcelona.
I’ve always wanted to get a bar cart for my living room! I love all the flowers too.
