{two lovely things : perfect neutrals & bits of gold}

{décor inspiration | two lovely things : perfect neutrals & bits of gold}

. . . and with all this talk of styling, we, jessica & i, and have been dreaming up ideas for above the fireplace mantle over fruit custard tarts, and ornate and gilded mirrors from a favourite antique shop came to mind, or a perfectly pastel abstract painting; but then, came upon this room, above, architect & interior designer daniel romualdez’s new york apartment, and was stunned by the dramatic simplicity of white framed in gold . . .

{p.s.} the chairs are by danish designer poul kjaerholm, and the petrified wood tables were originally commissioned by christian dior

    LOVE your style !!

  • I am biased, quite actually because the first picture is the palette I used in decorating the home I share with my husband. Exactly! I’ve decided to add a bit of color here and there but I love the neutral look of it. Not too feminine, or masculine just right!

  • Neutrals and a touch of gold are a winning combination.
