Today’s beautiful destination is not only the home for the Pitti Uomo men’s fashion show, but also the home of Renaissance architecture: Florence. Italy’s most romantic city vibrates with the energy, beauty and the discovery of emerging architects, artists and chefs.
The enchanting city is holding the 89th edition of Putti Uomo, a Fashion Masculine Salon in Florence. In 1972, the first Pitti Uomo took place, showcasing Italian tailoring and style to the foreign markets. Putti Uomo began with Giovanni Battista Giorgini, an aristocratic Italian from the Lucca family, who had business interests in Italian exports. He invited key buyers and influencers from the United States to Florence, and in this way, created the ‘High Italian Fashion Show’.
