The Edit: 4 Autumn/Winter 2017-18 Trends We Love at this Moment

Every autumn, one can always count on the same returning trends — trench coats and leopard print, for instance, always make their dependable (and much-anticipated) return. Every autumn, as well, there are always new trends to look forward to, and this year, there are wide belts and cinched waists, soft leather and 70’s plaid, midi skirts & ankle boots, and more. Here are four of our favourites for the Autumn/Winter 2017-18 season …

OH MY LOVE’S LIKE A RED, RED ROSE

While we have never really fallen for the colour red, preferring always the softer, prettier shades of pink, it is the colour of the season and if we were to adopt this trend, there would be no one better to look to for inspiration than TIG style icon Giovanna Battaglia, who pulls off the look perfectly with stripes and heart-shaped sunglasses …

This season, we’re seeing pearls emblazoned on denim jackets and blue jeans, on shoes and ankle boots, and also worn in the more traditional manner, as jewellery. In fact, at our own shop, we’ve just added an entire line of exquisite natural and cultured river pearls …
