Style Inspiration: Two-Tone Slingback Pumps

THE CHANEL TWO-TONE SLINGBACKS have been seen on everyone during the fashion month, and for good reason. While retaining a classic Parisian look, they somehow manage to adapt to any outfit–whether minimal or opulent–in a way that enhances it, yet lets the clothing speak for itself. Understated but evocative, nonchalant and confident, at home in the cobblestone streets of Vienna and amidst New York skyscrapers…the must-have shoe of the season is here. We love to wear them with boyfriend jeans and a cashmere sweater, and add a camel coat on colder days. Accessories? Red nail varnish, of course. Coco Chanel would be proud. — Victoria.Style Inspiration: Two-Tone Slingback Pumps Style Inspiration: Two-Tone Slingback Pumps Style Inspiration: Two-Tone Slingback Pumps

Victoria lives in the south of Spain, having moved there from her native country Ukraine when she was just a child. She finds herself looking up to timeless icons from past decades including Jackie O, Grace Kelly, Katherine Deneuve and Audrey Hepburn, and longing for sunny afternoons on the French Riviera and walks along the Seine during spring. Always overdressed and dishing out on tailored pieces and shoes – secretly dreaming they were from Dior or Saint Laurent – she dresses for herself rather than others, and would trade breakfast for Vogue or a one way ticket to anywhere beautiful.

  • I love them. The spectator style. The black/tan combination (though the black/gray also are nice). The chunky heel that isn’t ridiculously high.
I also saw some mules with very high stilettos. Not so crazy about those.
