Notes from the Weekend & A Few Lovely Links :: TIG

THIS WEEKEND was a hike through the hills and one last, romantic picnic overlooking the city in the last of the summer sun, before autumn’s first official day; there were slices of quiche in pretty cardboard takeaway boxes and molten chocolate cake and lemon drizzle cake and fizzy drinks and time to think and plan and dream, offline in the warm September air. This week, it’s back to all the busyness, with many inspirational things to share, including Norwegian designer Stian Korntved’s woodcarving project; a collection of glass houses and art; art director Charles Churchward’s advice on how to create the perfect gallery wall, P’s Playlist, and more . . .
